igo and TravelCards
All children aged 11 to 16 years must have an ‘igo pass’ to pay the concessionary fare on buses in Greater Manchester. The existing GMPTE ID16 will no longer be accepted and bus companies will charge higher fares if an igo pass is not shown to the driver. The igo pass is only available to children who live in Greater Manchester, or attend full time education at a school in Greater Manchester.
