WELLACRE - Yr9 Students attend the Uiversity of Liverpool

The Brilliant Club 2017/18
WELLACRE students from Year 9 and Year 10 attended the University of Liverpool for a launch event of the Brilliant Club 2017/18.
During their time attending the BRILLIANT CLUB each student will undertake the writing of a thesis on the French Revolution. Supported by their own PHD tutor, Dr. Alice Stefanelli.
Dr Stefanelli will visit WELLACRE 4 times throughout the Autumn/Winter term to discuss and advise our students. Their learning is independently led and each student must submit for final marking a 1,500 essay based on the title - Why was there a French Revolution’.
The Brilliant Club offers a fantastic introduction to University life and education. Our students are able to gain valuable first hand experience by visiting and enjoying the various faculties, facilities and halls of residence on campus, helping to further inform themselves about their future educational options.
