Year 9 / 10 Parents Evening and Options Information Evening

During our recent Year 9 and 10 Parents Evening WELLACRE took the opportunity to introduce our new Academic and Career Pathway.

Wellacre Futures - Helping your son make the most of his future.

Our aims for these pathways are to offer as much opportunity and targeted learning, allowing all of our students to feel confident to make informed choices about their careers, study and future beyond Year 11 and Wellacre.

We work with you and your son to find the best pathway for his future after his time here at Wellacre. This support is key to Wellcare's ethos and is in place from the very beginning of year 7 all the way through the Options process and then into making choices for employment, apprenticeship or further education. Structuring our students employability and enterprise education from Year 7 upwards with a bespoke program, tailored to each year group.

Our excellence in this area is recognised through our recent award of the nationally recognised Gold IAG Award for outstanding Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance.
