The Young Explorer Geography Club

Calling all young explorers!

Where would you like to go? What would you like to investigate?

Help us to decide on what geography skills you would like to build and what you would like to learn next.

During the club you will be supported by the Geography dept to research your own learning journeys. Maybe you would like to find new countries and cultures? or learn how to record weather patterns and changes? or look into environmental issues and solutions?

You decide.

Start local or go beyond your classroom by utilising online resources like Google Earth, the Met Office and UNESCO to search further.

You can work on your own explorations or as part of a team project, either way we will always look to share our findings and results to gain knowledge, inspire further ideas and encourage discussion.

For more information on how to get involved please contact:

The Young Explorer Geography Club is structured to give students the freedom to support their own educational and curriculum enrichment, helping to develop themselves geographers whilst providing a wider context for expanding our learning community beyond the classroom.
