Community Commitment by Wellacre Students

Wellacre students have been busy this term working on Urmston in Bloom initiatives.  Urmston in Bloom is a scheme from The Urmston Partnership to help to improve the town centre and other shopping areas in M41.

The first project has seen Year 7 students receiving over a thousand seedlings, which they have planted and will be placed in the academy’s Eco Centre to bloom.

These will then be delivered back to the partnership to place in planters throughout Urmston town centre.
