Hear from Beryl, Cyril Flint Befriendee
Following Wellacre's Reverse Advent, which supported local charity Cyril Flint Befrienders, we heard from Befriendee and Trustee, Beryl.
Beryl wanted to personally share her thanks for Wellacre's Reverse Advent and the Christmas present that put such a smile on her face!
Mrs Irwin, Head of House and coordinator of the whole school event, visited Beryl to hear about the impact this act of kindness had on Beryl and others at Christmas. Beryl also spoke about how positive the Cyril Flint group and her befriender, Tracey, has been for her since struggling with loneliness.
Beryl's words about taking time out to make a difference to others are inspirational and her message has been shared with all students, staff and families.
