Displaying both his expertise and skill, Jamie won 2nd place in the world for Kata (a routine of moves), 3rd place for team Kata, and 5th for kumite (non-contact fighting).

Jamie said:

“This was by big second chance.  I competed here four years ago but just missed a medal place by coming 4th.  I’ve trained for a long time for this, I felt nervous but ready for the competition.

“The atmosphere was really good and my team was at the side of the ring, with my coaches, supporting me.  I made my family and coaches really proud!”
