Year 7 Build Medieval Castles

Year 7 rose to the challenge when tasked with an independent study project to research and build a medieval castle 9 in January.

In History, students have been learning about different styles of castles and the purposes of its architectural features for defense and living.  

The homework project not only supported and enhanced students’ learning but also developed independent work and study skills; all presented outstanding models in class on Friday 26th January.

Leader of Humanities, Mrs O'Neill, said:

“Year 7s completed outstanding Medieval castle models as part of their independent study project and we saw some fantastic efforts from so many students.  They demonstrated real commitment to learning and evaluative skills. Well done!”
