By providing opportunities for our students to explore the cultural history of a country, whilst studying a foreign language, helps them to understand and appreciate the country's culture of today.

As part of learning about the French Revolution, students studied the divide between the rich and poor, how France were once ruled by a monarchy and how it became a democracy.

Daniel said:

“It's a very important event in history and interesting to learn about in our French lessons.”

Joab added:

“It's a vital part in French history and shows how it's led to modern day France. It's been fascinating to learn about it in French lessons.”
