So many happy faces today ….
From Purple bottom biscuits to door knob hangers
From short cricket to dark room bangers
From arty shop posters to who wants to be a millionaire
From one billionaire boy to a myriad of ideas to share
From in and out the canteen fed and watered in 20 mins
To football on the astro without any Suarez shenanigans
From disgusting menus ( not ours Duncan!) to running it off cross country style
To no one getting lost or upset but lots wearing a big smile
The new recruits have had a ball today, left us hot and sweaty with new pals made and more importantly all excited about starting in September Wellacre.
The school whose pupils reads the most books over the summer will win an Author visit from Liz Pichon and £500 worth of books for their school, including signed artwork!
Plus, there’ll be a new competition every day with the chance to win books for every age and interest.
